DiscoDazzler Reviews: Brave and the Bold #33
I’ve really been loving Brave and the Bold ever since Straczynski began his run with Batman and Dial H For Hero.  The great thing about BATB is that each issue stands on its own and isn’t really so concerned with continuity of events. Each issue focuses on telling a great story that can fit in between the lines of the DCU.  This week was no exception.
In fact, not only is issue #33 probably my favorite so far of the run, it’s easily my favorite book I’ve picked up this month.
Because I think that it’s better you read it for yourself, I won’t go into much detail, but the premise is a night on the town with Batgirl, Zatanna, and Wonder Woman.
I found myself having a really powerful response to this issue and was left with a couple of tears.
If you’re not reading this book, you should be.  It sells pretty well, so you might have to hunt to get the issues, but it’s really worth it.  Even if you don’t read the book regularly, pick this issue up.
5/5
